Little Bighorn Battlefield, Montana

In the spring and summer of 1876 the United States Government launched a military campaign upon a portion of the Sioux and Cheyenne Indians, who refused to live within the boundaries of the Great Sioux Reservation. They chose to continue their traditional nomadic way of life in the Valley of the Little Bighorn River.
As the military threat to the nomadic Sioux and Cheyenne developed, they began to gather for protection. Sitting Bull became the spiritual and political headman for the gathering village and remained so while it was together. A few weeks before the Battle, Sitting Bull conducted a Sun Dance during which he experienced a vision of a great victory over soldiers.

@jamnua That would be as harsh as celebrating the death of Osama bin Laden or something of that magnitude, only reverse-wise. It would break American hearts, and be kinda pointless. Above all, it's not the first time the idea has gone around. Putting C4's up George Washington's nose was another one, but we'd only be seen as terrorists or anything greater than a regular criminal. We're being held in check and paid back little by little for being 'good'. =D btw Swiss chocolate is just orgasmic.

You know I often marvel at the dumb crap euorpeans want to post on Youtube. You have no idea about the plains indian wars, much of it is buffalo turds. LTC Custer made many mistakes and was involved in reprisals against indians, however the myth of the nobel savage is just as wrong. As I have seen in other postings, the Indians were brutal not just to white men but to each other.

@skudaarkaat1 there was reason behind wars between tribes, it was called survival. The difference is that the whites killed in cold blood for NO reason except to steal and attempt to force a way of life on people who didn't want it. But look back now, the way of life the sleazy whites destroyed, is the way that would have saved this world from udder destruction, you can blame every single environmental catastrophe on European stupidity, ignorance and greed.
