I found this game on tape tucked away in my library. It's the Atlanta Hawks at the Boston Celtics in a 1990 matchup. Even late in his career, Larry Bird shows why he's still one of the best all around players in NBA history.
Thanks for posting!! I've said it before and I will again, Bird was the best all around B-Ball player ever. Love those full court bomb passes that are just out of reach of the defender yet right to his teammate-incredible! Look at the team defense, quick hands for the steal and then the assist. We all know he could shoot lights out and rebound, but his willingness to share the ball, court vision to see the floor and IQ to make the pass are unrivaled. It had to be so much fun to play on his team
