Two acclaimed thinkers about religion—Reza Aslan and Jack Miles—conduct an enlightening on-stage conversation about the state of Islam. An author and scholar of comparative religions the Iran-born Aslan challenges the "clash of civilizations" mentality that he claims has distorted the West's view of Islam and he examines this critical faith in all its complexity, beauty and compassion. • @bhigr

According to muslim tradation the Kabba was first built by Adam pbuh the first prophet of God and the first Masjid (mosque) - later it was rebuilt by Abhraham pbuh.

    Hope that helps

  • Wanna hear a joke? Religion.

  • @marlogue53 reza answered that question in 118.03 119.03 basicly the fundamentalists in america they can expres there ideas and the poeple can exept or reject there ideas but in the islamic world there ideas are being denieyd opressed and after being not able to expres there ideas than they become violent, also in my opinion its blaintlently obvious that muslims have been radicalized since 9.11 after the iraq war or the palestinian conflict etc etc you must understand those poeple have no life

  • How do you direct the many sides of Islams into a non violent dialogue within the Islamic world and with the rest of the world.

  • Reza, so if there is no reason for the Kaaba, then why do muslims circumambulate the kaaba when they perform pilgrimage to Mekkah?

  • i would like to make it clear that Ali was not the nephew of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH), he was his cousion (chacha zad bhai).
