Rag Doll Kung Fu™ - How to get Offside! trophy

This vid is a an easy way to unlock one of the hidden trophies Offside! and also an in-game reward!

The good thing with this method is you only need 2 controllers! As you may know, you can not use AI in Capture the Fish mode.

Preperation:

1. Make sure you have 2 controllers

2. Enter multiplayer and create a Capture the Fish match. In the example we used the first level Whale Restaurant

3. Make the settings as follows;
Team: Yes
Time Limit: ~2 mins
Score Limit: 0
Allow Player in Basket: YES!

4. Next choose 2 characters for the red team but don't press X for player 1

5. Now, press & hold your PS button on the controller to open up the menu with 'Quit Game' etc options

6. Select 'Controller Settings' and 'Resign the Controller'

7. Change it to '3' and exit, select new character press X

8. Make sure you have at least one player on the opposite team ie. Blue

9. Change controller number back to '1' and start the game

10. Move your player 1 into the basket facing the right

11. With your 2nd controller move player 2 to pick up the fish

12. This next bit might be tricky. Whilst facing LEFT with player 2 you must press [ ] square and immediately press R1 on the player 1 controller. You'll have to hold them both at the same time or get someone to help.

13. If done correctly player 1 will catch the fish. You then have to quickly hold DOWN on the left joystick the press [ ] square to throw the fish into the basket. All this must be done within 1 second but don't worry if you muck up. Plenty of time.

14. If done right the in-game reward will almost instantly pop-up shortly followed by the wonderful sound of a trophy being achieved!

you know instead of getting a third controller just do this

when choosing your doll hold the Ps button and change your controller settings to whatever player # you want

@bruceps3 It's been a long time since I played and got the trophy. If I remember correctly: I had player one throw the fish as high as possible over the basket. Then switch controller while the fish was in the air, caught it with player 2 and threw it in.

what if you only have to controller ports on ur ps3? the capture the fish game doesn't allow AI

I threw the fish upward into the air, while it was in the air. I switched controllers, grabbed the fish outta the air with the other character and threw it in. It wasn't within 1 second, but it gave me the award
