Why turn the USA, a place know for freedom and liberty, into a hard-nosed corporation dominated police state? It would be like China, but instead of heavy government control it would be heavy corporation-initiated control enforced by the government.
My plea to my american brothers, SAVE THE INTERNET, SHUT DOWN THIS BILL!

Thank you TWiT! As a Canadian I am but an observer in this fight, however I do feel that this will have a huge impact on Canadians. I feel this because the majority of our internet-transit connections are hosted by American carriers (Cogent, XO, etc) and Foreign companies operating in the USA (TATA, CT, etc), which would have to abide by these same acts. This impact could be felt around the world. And what is to stop these companies from continuing into other countries? The EU? The Asiatics?...
