@porty500 Key statements you are making are not true. You should not take internet information as being "bare Münze". It is tainted with nationalistic sentiments / feeling of belonging. The people who were part of these events have no recourse.
The true story is more interesting (large text). I would single out the Me 262 jet engine design as a true German achievement. Von Ohain (Heinkel) was looking for work post WII in USA. He sold himself as the German/US "inventor" of the jet engine.

Jet engines are garbage engines. Just a make work profit scheme. I'm suspicious of people who are 'into' thrust. Sounds like a common baudy house. Ancient aircraft were powered by 'firestones' These were special crystals that somehow amplified ambient electro-magnetic/etheric energy to produce enormous power. Of course, mercury vortex engines are superior to jet engines, but mercury is kinda toxic. WW2 was fought with technology suitable for cavemen.
