It's because they watch the vid expecting it to suck. When it doesn't, they realize that everything they've come to believe about American cars just isn't true. It comes as a shock, and most would rather make whiny excuses, snide and untrue remarks, or deny it outright. Only the strongest, most secure individuals can admit it, and those people are very rare. Corvette is a good car.

No matter what anyone says. It may not be as elegant as a ferrari 458, but it performs majestically and not only keeps up with its european competitors, but surpasses them. I am a european car lover myself, but there is no shame in admitting another car is wonderful.

And if Jeremy Clarkson says its a good car....well that there is my case and point.

im from Germany and i have a problem, i am addicted to american cars or am I infected ? thats what most people tell me and its true if you got out of your VW and you just took a seat maybe in a 4th Gen Fbody and the engine starts up and its the first time you heard a V8 sounding/feeling like this ... yes thats my story I am infected and I keep spreading the virus thank you GM (Chrysler and Ford too, but pssst)

@MicahLeviClark they took the ZR1 to the ring it set a record time for it's class @ 7:26.4 ... so i guess we've already seen what its made of. oh and that was a stock zr1 time. sorry.

I own a ZR1. A tuning shop has told me that another 100hp is about $3500 away. Some more boost, tuning & a stronger clutch. I still can't get my head around 640hp. It exceeds the speed limit in 1st gear.

they are amazingly dangerous too when handling is pushed to the limits when they let go, Its sudden and i mean SUDDEN !!! Nobody wants to talk about that hunh? lol still they are ok for the same basic design that theyve always used.
