Jillian's P.O.V.

I couldn't believe what I just saw. Joe punched Derek. JOE! I never thought he would do that. Something must have been wrong but I found myself rushing to Derek's side not Joe's. Derek not had a bloody nose. Nothing to go to a hospital for thank goodness. But the Derek got up and punched Joe right back. I wasn't as worried because I knew Joe was strong but he wasn't today. He fell right to the ground. This brought tears to my eyes and I ran to his side. I put my hand on top of his but he pushed it off. I looked at him confused." I know that I'm not the one you want so I'll just get out of your way. Sorry I tried to get you back. I thought that's what you wanted too." With that he got up and walked out of Sally's. I just stayed on the ground and I felt the tears fall down my cheeks. By now Derek was all cleaned up and he came and sat down next to me. "Any guy that would yell at you and not care about you isn't worth it." I looked up at him and said"But I love him." He gave me a hug and said "Why don't you stay at my place tonight. I have a couch that you could sleep on." "Um, I guess that would be ok for tonight." I said and he took my hand and led me outside and I followed him in my car to his apartment. When we got to his house I grabbed my purse and my bag that was still packed for a hotel and followed him inside. "Here we are. It's not that great but hey at least I have a house. Make yourself at home." He said. "Thanks, it's great." Then I thought to myself "Make yourself at home." where had I heard that before oh yeah, him. Derek opened the fridge and came into the living room with 2 beers."Want one?" "Oh, no thanks I don't drink." I replied feeling worried that I came home with this guy that I didn't even know he probably just wanted money or something. "Okay suit yourself. Wanna watch a movie?" "Sure." Ok that made me feel a little better. A movie couldn't hurt right? He put in the movie One Missed Call and had a seat next to me. By the middle of the movie he had his arm around me but that was fine he hadn't tried to do anything else.

The movie had just ended and when I looked over at Derek there at least 10 beer cans next to him. This freaked me out. He tried standing up but just fell back to the couch. "Hey baby, why don't yousssleep with meee tonight." He said his words slurred. "Um, no it's ok." I said. He now stood up and said " It's okk? I've never gotten that one before. I told you, you should have had a beer or 4." and as he said this he kept getting closer to me. "I'm not a slut Derek. Sorry if that's what you think you're getting out of me but it's not. I'm just gonna go now." I said. "No you're not going anywhere." He said."Yes I am." Then he hit me. I fell to the ground scared to move. My phone wasn't even in my pocket so I could call someone. I thought since this was an apartment maybe if I screamed someone would come help so I tried"AHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!" "That's not gonna work babe, I have girls screaming in here every other night." he said. "Ugh your gross, why don't you just let me leave?" I asked. "Cause I don't want you to leave." he said. "I thought you were a nice guy but you aren't. You just took advantage of me. I'm never going to like you so get used to it. Nothing is going to happen between us." I said my face still burning from where he hit me. "Oh really he?" he asked,"Maybe you would like a replay of what just happened." and with that he hit me again bringing tears to my eyes. "Oh come on now don't cry. Be a big girl." he hit me again in the stomach this time. But I got up and threw my hardest punch into his face grabbed all my stuff and ran out of his house as fast as I could. I got in my car locked the doors and cried. I couldn't go back to the Jonas' now even if I wanted too. Without thinking I drove back to Sally's parking lot and fell asleep in my car.

The next morning I woke up to the sound of someone banging on my window I opened my eyes and saw two faces I didn't want to see. One I was in love with, and the other beat me up. This wasn't going to end well.
