Illinois Gender Advocates Be-All 2010 Episode 5 - ENDA

Illinois Gender Advocates filmed a series of interviews with attendees and presenters in 2010 at Be-All held in suburban Chicago, the largest transgender conference in the Midwest.
In episode 5, Vanessa Fabbre interviews Mara Keisling, a co-founder and executive director of the National Center for Transgender Equality (NCTE). NCTE is a 501(c)3 social justice organization dedicated to advancing the equality of transgender people through advocacy, collaboration and empowerment. Mara reviews some of the current federal legislative priorities regarding transgender rights and offers advice about how individual people can help to change attitudes and aid passage of federal laws.
