Taken from 'Psychedelia - San Francisco Legends', this is one of Canned Heat's novel interpretations of Robert Johnson's/Elmore James' quintessential blues standard 'I Believe I'll Dust My Broom'.

It's quite obvious this was a live performance, indeed one at the Los Angeles (or S.F.) club known as Kaleidoscope, circa 1968.. contrary to the album on which it can be found, 'Live at Topanga Corral'. It's also on an apparent EP of the same name. I mean to admit this track alone is what spawned my own love and ardor for the group. This piece is an apotheosis, composed of the Bear's ariose command; Taylor's thick and precise rhythm, Fito's swift beat, and of Alan's august bottleneck fashion.
