  • @dodododa 100% true!

  • These companies probably created most of the chaos in the world so they can sell their crap.

  • new technology to provide democracy

  • Is this ship design in competition with the "arsenal" ship concept - the destroyer is really taking on the role of the battleship of the past.

My only concern with these small and medium sized ships is that these, for sure, are able to to spot, track & network 1000's of targets, a great improvement on the battleship but they just don't have the capacity in terms of munitions to destroy all the targets it networks. Until energy based weapons are the dominant model size of ships still matters.

  • @iiiears I didn't say that you were wasteful. The UK has wasted more than you over the years. We should join in a naval project- like we have for the JSF (although you're doing most of the work :)

I'd never even heard of the globalhawks... they look good though, not quite as good as the BAE Systems Taranis though- but the UK should get a few globalhawks to go with their Preditors and other UAV/UCAV's.

  • I think its a beautiful ship!!! Very sleek and it reminds me of the Ironclad warships during the late 1800's!!!

  • @ASH6977 I salute you for your service. Please understand you too will put your Class A's in a drawer a decade or 3 from now and need retirement and healthcare.

Polish your brass, enjoy standing tall and straight while time allows.

  • @MrXray2011 Very funny, I would like to educate you on one minor point. Just because globalhawks were built and mothballed 18 months later does not mean we are wasteful.

  • 10 minutes into the war an ionizing burst is launched and all electronics malfunction.

  • sorry to say, but I see serious flaws in this design. Flaws that even may sink it without being attacked.
