This is amazing! I love how the townspeople were the "demonic voices" and just ripped off the cloaks to be the townspeople. Doctor Parker & Edgar have amazing voices, although Edgar lost his accent when he was singing, which was sad. BTW, why does Edgar have a British accent? I know he's supposed to, but why?
@bobmanny11 In this case, Bat Boy does NOT fight crime or hand out baseball bats at a game. It's based on a b.s. tabloid story from about twenty years ago.
BTW, Shelley was a bit off, no offense. Otherwise, great for a community staging of the musical. Let's bring this to Broadway already. Had I the money, I'd be the first to back it. It's been in London and had a national tour and an Original Cast Album but no Broadway showings.
@bobmanny11 Oh I meant no offense. I understand what you're saying. But would this really warrant a musical if Bat Boy was a crimefighter? Might be slightly more interesting but cliched and confusing.
@bobmanny11 You're referring to Batman. God knows why I'm replying to this. BatMAN never had a musical, YET. This is a musical built around a BS article in that BS supermarket tabloid, Weekly World News, published in 1994. Got it? Good. Nuff said.
@fatdaddyb28 Actually, there was a Batman musical, but it was never produced for obvious reasons.
