Yet another reason why, Anglican Bishops should stick to theology and not speak about politics, perhaps if they did that, Church attendance in the UK would be higher than 10% on any given Sunday.

As usual Bishop Wright gets it right.
Equality is a relative term but there needs to be freedom of Religion, Expression & Association, even for Christians in the UK & USA.

I dont like to say "he's a modern CS Lewis" because they are totally different, but he does deserve huge respect for his considered, temperate and reasoned approach to difficult issues and should be lauded for taking complex issues and bringing them before us in ways we can understand. He is an intellectual giant and will be remembered as being as influential as Lewis. A saint, an apostle, a part of new-creation if ever we've seen one.
