Part 2 of a recording made on 19 Oct 08. The organ, built by Moller & dedicated in 1965, is actually 2 instruments: a Gallery Organ (heard on this recording) of about 120 ranks & a 50-rank Chancel Organ almost a city block away.
@TrompenCham167 The Subprinzipal 32 (renamed the Contra Violon) and the SubBass 32 are quite substantial themselves. When all 3 32 foot stops play, one can really feel it! The trombone 32 sounds (and feels) like the Queen Mary coming in to dock!

this organ HAS to be the BEST kept secret in the world. I never knew we had such a fine instrument in this country. Unbelievable range and registration! thanks
I've been a buff of this piece for the last 40 years, and I'll hear & collect ANY performance (original version or arranged) that I can lay my hands on.....this one's without doubt one of the most INCREDIBLE! Thanks greatly.
@TrompenCham167 Can't post the proper link so go to the website for nationalshrine com and click on music in the top menu, then click organs on the left menu.
