Characters in flight

Characters in flight is the newest (only) ride at Downtown Disney. The ride, the worlds largest tethered gas balloon, is operated by Aérophile S.A., a company headquarted in Paris France. It is a simple ride, it goes up, hovers for about 10 to 15 minutes and then comes down. You get to see a 360 degree view of DisneyWorld.

The video is the balloon coming down. The wind caught it. No one was hurt, but the ride must have been memorable. We got to the balloon about 30 minutes after this video was taken. The ride was closed due to the weather. We had to wait until later that night to ride the balloon.
