Hi, both amps were sold a long time ago. I sell mod kits on ebay.co.uk my username is alnicomagnet. Cheers, Nigel

Hi. Has it already been listed somewhere? I have this amp myself and trying to improve outgoing sound. I have already changed the speaker, the sound has improved, but there is still that noise ...
-
It is definitely not all valve, it uses a TL072 IC for the effects send/return/line-out section, ie always in the signal path. If it was truly all valve it would be much easier for beginners to mod into a better sounding amp.

i was talking in regards to amplification. it is a hybrid, but in terms of amplification, it is not a peavey vyper or similar amp.
i feel like this might put people off buying what is a great amp.
-
look up hybrid in a dictionary, it's a "mixture of two different things"
-
why do you keep on calling this a hybrid.
hybrid means that it only has a valve in the poweramp, this only has one solid state component.
not trying to disrespect you, but you might be putting people off buying the amp.
Hi, if i want to buy this amp, and it's not a "pure" valve amp, does it need to be BIAS-ed? I know there are high voltages inside that may kill you but, what are the other important things about changing the tubes of this amp?

Hi, it's cathode biased, also known as self biased, no need to set bias when changing tubes. Cheers, Nigel

this amp is not a hybrid cause its got 2 el84 power tubes and 2 12ax7 pream tubes!

It's not a pure valve signal path, the I.C. section is always in circuit, therefore is is not a pure valve amplifier. Get over it.
