can the gr30 be used to record in garage band?

@LittleEmoBoy001 Hi, not sure, as I don't use Garage Band, but I imagine you can record direct into your sound card and hook up via midi to use those functions. You may be able to find an user manual on-line which will shed some light. Good Luck! Rich.

Ninths and sevenths. Is that it? What about the 6 (13), the 4 (11). What about sharping or flatting the 5?

Why don't you play a major 13 with a sharp 11, a flat 9. and a sharp 5? That might sound cool.

Ninths and sevenths aren't all that lush. Andy Summers beat those ninths to death 30 years ago for the Police.

@mirf59 Thanks for the suggestions and comments - perhaps I will upload something a bit more "challenging" on the ear! Do you have any example progressions using the chords you mention? I am always keen to learn from others.

The sounds are generated on a Roland GR30 guitar synth via a GKA2 pickup fitted to a standard guitar.
