@lovenaldo - I believe a vast majority of Christians these days acknowledge that the birth of Christ wasn't necessarily in December, but we celebrate his birth in December because it is the blending of Christian and Pagan tradition that made early conversions easier for everyone involved.

@fixedgearplanet I agree. He is promoting a horrible book that was written by a bunch of desert nomads trying to make sense of the world. Come everyone. Spend a few hours looking up the origins of Christianity. How about just reading the bible. Like the part where a bald man gets mad at a bunch of kids for making fun of his bald head and sends bears to tear them to shreds "in the name of the Lord". The bible is absurd.

I agree with krstn05, I liked Texas Rangers but how can you pull against a class act like Albert Pujols! He is more than just a celebrity athlete. He seems to have kept priorities on Who really gives us Life (both quality of life here and Eternal Life). He's not afraid to give thanks to God who saved him. Palestine is very cold in December. It was much too cold to ask everyone to travel to the city of their fathers to register for taxes. Also the shepherds were in the fields (Luke 2:8-12). Shepherds were not in the fields in the winter time. They are in the fields early in March until early October. This would place Jesus' birth in the spring or early fall.

Jesus was not born in December, a proven fact. Christ's birth date became of importance only because church leaders around 400 A.D. were wanting to commemorate the major events of his life.
