Bobby Likis: I stood in the amphitheater gallery directly behind NASA Mission Control & peered incredulously into its intense daily ops. The star of the show today is SOICHI NOGUCHI, an International Space Station (ISS) Astronaut, on a LIVE video conference from the ISS. Now THIS is wide screen at its finest:

Left panel: Views from cameras of the ISS

Center panel: In the first part of the video, youll see the African continent filmed from the ISS as the ISS passes 220 miles overhead. Its a fast pass, as the ISS orbits the earth 15-16 times a day, so the astronauts enjoy 15-16 sunrises & sunsets in every 24-hour period.  A little later in the film, the greater-than-life-size center panel will be filled with Astronaut Noguchi, briefing Mission Control, while scooting at 17,227 mph.

Right panel: Second-by-second time line of life on the ISS. Astronauts are specifically directed every 5 minutes as to what they are to do... from scientific experiments to eating & sleeping, etc.
