  • ONE OF MY TIGER OSCARS JUST BECAME BLIND SUDENLY. WHAT WOULD CAUSE THAT. PLEASE HELP.

  • @tjluna1960 I'm sorry but I don't know what would suddenly cause it. I don't know why mine had gone blind, on mine I was told it was because he was an albino. Wish I could help or knew more about it.

  • WOW. Nice fish tank there Karen, 140 gals huge!

Interesting that he is blind. Don't albinos in general have sight issues?

    Interesting.

  • Thanks Tox, he/she is still doing really well. It seems like Albino's have hearing and sight issues, we had a white cat with hearing issues and this fish just seemed to go blind for no reason at all. The second Albino Oscar in the tank can only see out of one eye, but that was due to a fight he had with another Oscar.

  • I´ve never seen before a blind fish! does it lives well among the other fishes? I mean without fighting?

  • The other Oscar's don't bother him even though he often bumps into them. It would be bad if they ever did fight with him, but so far so good.
