iOS4 upgrade issues with iPhone 3GS

With Apple update to it's iPhone Operating System (OS) from iPhone OS 3 to iOS4 on 22 June 2010 (at least in Australia), there was always bound to be some small issues with apps not being updated in time by the developer (how dare they not update my free apps!! :).

In this video I look at just a couple of example of apps that I have that had issue since my upgrade from iPhone OS 3 to iOS4 on my Apple iPhone 3GS.

Some people have reported average performance on 3GS iPhone's with iOS 4, I have not had this problem, however some of my apps do not work with iOS 4, if an app is important to your work, make sure you check with the developer before upgrading.

I looked at "My Sport" - Sporting Pulse, which still have not had an upgrade released I will try to post an update video when it happens. I also looked at "Valet Hero" which got it's upgrade and now works fine, you can see that all in this video.

@rextonkiller97 Not 100% sure what you mean by better graphics. The upgrade is not going to change the screen resolution of a 3GS.

i have a 3gs 3.1.3 so u think i should stay with the original vertion because i was thinking to upgrade my iphone and i been hearing the the new app 4.0 is not comparable with cydia can u leave me a comment i will really appreciate.thanxs broo

@javierr323 4.0 is a little laggy on the 3GS, but we all want everything yesterday. I like it thought. As far as I know Cydia is for Jailbroken iPhones, I haven't done that and have no plans to, so I'm not sure I can be of much help.

@TOPAZLE Thanks for the comment. Is your iPhone a 3G or 3GS? I'd start by trying a factory reset, becuase if you ring Apple that is the first thing they will ask. There are issue and I believe Apple is preparing to release an update for, lag is meant to be really bad on the 3G, but I do notice it on my 3GS. Hopefully Apple do find ways to fix this. However it might just be like running Windows 7 on an old PC, it's just never going to be good if it works at all. Good luck, I hope you sort it out.

My iPhone is in trouble with internet after upgraded to iOS4.01 , 3G internet service is death , not functioning at all . Please help
