Any idea how Volant compares to K&N? Is this a Short Ram or a Cold Air? What kind of a difference do you feel with an Air Intake mod versus stock? Tons more power?

@Dreaklock NO idea how Volant compares to K&N. It is a short ram intake. After i installed it i did not feel much difference in power. It adds only like 5 hp. However, the sound is amazing.

@ypaduta Any idea if Cold intake gives you more noticable power than Short Ram? Personally, I care more about power than sound. Sound is always good, but power comes first in my book. I'm currently looking into a new exhaust, intake, and header. Hopefully that'll increase my HP by at least 15-20.

@ypaduta Bog means it does nothing when You give it full throttle off the line...it hesitates than takes off.

I am going to make the switch to the Volant.

I did not really get what you meant by "bogs for a full second off the line"

However, i did not have any problems with this air intake. Ii sounds great even after 1 year. I dont regret that i paid $400 for it. Recommend to everybody!
