it feels like im the only one who is hell bent on killing parasites. Everyone else wont shut up about cancer or AIDS, but no one talks about parasites, which infest at least a billion people worldwide
so hard to identify those damn eggs!! i think i failed my lab exam on that..haha. you have to really have a sharp eye and know by heart the different identifying features of each egg..
I'd love to become a Parasitologist but I don't know which school I have to attend, I already have a M.S. in Biology and I live in Seattle area. Thanks!
Your video is interesting and explains why I've had so much trouble getting help. My samples have been to four labs now and each has been unable to identify what the critters are. Obviously these labs are so overwhelmed with specimens they simply pass on what they can't id. Your collaborative approach is essential, particularly with global travel being so prevalent. It's unfortunate that more emphasis is not placed on this potentially explosive healthcare threat.
greetings dr. crandell i will be taking up certification for medical technologist this december. but my reference books in PARASITOLOGY is not enough.i hope i can down load some pictures that u showed awhile ago illustration of all eggs/cyst and size of each i appreciate and thank you very much (rodney)

i think you first have to do a degree in medicine & infectious disease before specializing in parasitology

To post a comment in translation (of the previous comment) is far greater than 500 characters to be complete in statement
