what exactly does the suds return do? bnd btw that machine looks like it copied maytag with some of the parts looks like it was a very high end machine in its day

Yes, nice machine! Too bad Maytag here never used s/s tubs.

I've heard of the suds return feature, but never saw it in action. Also, parts of that washer (mainly tub & agitator) look like the older Maytag washers.

Hi davenwin,
you are spot on! These Wilkins Servis machines are pretty much identical to the older helical drive Maytag machines with the exception of the stainless steel bowl and platic outer bowl.
