@BantuNation Hi Mr Nation, I agree with you completely. I too am convinced that jazz was invented by black people it's just that we have no names before Jelly Roll and since he was black it seems reasonable to credit him. Another possibility is that credit should go to Tony Jackson who was also a New Orleans pianist around the same time
The other person who could claim a hand in the creation of jazz is Louis Armstrong, which Bing Crosby always acknowledged

This is bobby valentino and has been since 1975. If you search thru Youtube will will find him performing with the likes of: Tom Petty & the Heartbreakers; The Style Council; The Men They Couldn't Hang; Fabulous Poodles; Los Pistoleros; Jools Holland and many more.
