Bellator 51 Moment - Eduardo Dantas vs. Wilson Reis

Wilson Reis was eliminated from the tournament once again in his first attempt at 135 pounds, but big things were expected from his opponent, Eduardo Dantas, when he showed up with world champion Jose Aldo and Marlon Sandro in his corner. Dantas earned a knockout as exciting as Vila's when he capitalized on a kick caught by Reis in the opening round. Reis wouldn't let go of the leg at first and looked to set up a takedown, but when Dantas took his leg back and Reis began to retreat to get outside his striking distance, Dantas sprinted toward him and laid him out flat with a knockout by flying knee.

This ref should be fired, if Dantas didn't stop himself he would have been able to hit him another 4 or 5 times. I think this guy is the ref that wouldn't shut up during Tyson Griffins last fight

@cConStar24 not necessarily, i would put forward the argument that Bellators' bantamweight division is alot more stacked than the UFC's

Alexis Vila, Zach Makovsky, Eduardo Dantas, Joe Warren, Ed West etc would all be very dangerous in the UFC

plus, they have Lombard, Alvarez, Konrad, The Pitbull Brothers, Curran, Heiron...and thats just off the top of my head!

Bellator may not be topping any P4P lists with their weight classes, but ALL those fighters listed would wreak havoc in the UFC

@xSuckaFreex1 only in his last 2 performances, and both were pretty devastating, he needs to put another streak together before he gets back out there, hope he does well, but given how its going, he will never win a tournament

Terrific performance by Dantas. This kid is going to be even better as he grows. On the other hand, terrible performance by that yokel ref. Seriously. Why are you just standing there with your thumb lodged in your ass? Get in there and stop the fight when you're supposed to. Idiots. Anyways, the Street Fighter logo should have flashed on screen after he landed that.

I watch Strikeforce and Bellator and yes their fights are extremely entertaining but the UFC has the best fighters in the world, and by far :/ sorry guys
