This is my CPVC kayak frame with a brown tarp skin. In this video I just anchored and was about to start fishing. My paddle is fixed and works well. I eventually found my rootbeer, it slipped under the blue gymnast mat I used as a cushion. Sadly, it was found at the end of the day as we were leaving the lake
Didn't catch anything, just a few nibbles. But there was a smart little perch the hung out at the bottom of my kayak and every time I got my crank bait to the side of the boat, he came up, grabbed the back hook, let go and went back down =P Later at the dock i did catch a huge prickle but that has nothing to do with this video.
The reason I used CPVC is because it is cheaper and, for this purpose, in no way different than PVC. This is based off the design on instructables (http://www.instructables.com/id/pvc-kayak/) but I forgot to print out the instructions so I just winged it and used relative measurements.
@xmicina Thank you. It really was a fun project and it only took about 4 hours of actual work. I think this summer I'll be dismantling it and building it a little smaller so it's easier to paddle around. For the price and time put into I'd say this is definitely the way to go for a fishing/sight seeing kayak.

this boat is impressive :)
This is something about I think to build. Simple, cheap, just boat to float on water - nothing more and nothing less.
Congratulations to succesfull creative work.
