Listen again to her tone of voice when she sings those three magic words "side-by-side." Every time I hear her say those three words I fall in love with her all over again. It is not just the beauty of her voice or the cute tone which she projects when singing those three words, it is more the feeling of love, content, and happiness with life that she puts into them. To sing like this you need more than a great voice, you need personality and love. That is why so many love Kay Starr is return.

@blakegriplingph The Puppini sisters are amazing and yes, I can imagine them singing it :)

@HarpersIslandluvr - Yep, the Puppini Sisters did a cover of this version of the song.

This was a record in a old pile of 78's we found in a rented house in Teheran, Iran, in 1960 !

I never heard this song sung better by anyone. I don't believe it can be done any better. Her talent far superceded her fame.

what a great singer

Lee Morse puts this woman to shame

thats true anyone born in america is ''native"" but I was referring to her roots as an American Indian. There is an under representation of American Indians in entertainment and being of chrerokee blood myself I applaud Ms Kay Starr.
