This is a video of a very small portion of the replacing of 133 package units on Denver City ISD. It was done with a helicopter and he set 133 units in a littler under 7 hours. THIS GUY WAS GOOD! The contractor on the job was Comfortmasters out of Lubbock, TX.
They were incredible! They worked under very oppressive conditions (heat, humidity, etc.) to get this job done in less than 7 hours.

  • I live in DC, that building is our Elementary Building it holds lets say 600+staff. You are only seeing a quarter of this building, it is shaped like the pentagon with a large libary in the center & a couple of extentions, & it is possible that this was not the only building they were working at just a jump away is the rest of DCISD buildings. FYI, they did move the units in 7hrs...we all watched. Common sence says you would disconnect prior right?...you do have that? SET 133

  • 5-State Helicopters, Royse City, Texas. Brad LaDue - they are the best!

  • All of you nay sayers obviously are not experienced HVAC installers or techs. This can be done, was done and done very professionally. If you DISCONNECT the units, have the adaptercurbs READY and have a crew on the ground, and one one the roof going from unit to unit, a 3:15 turnaround is very doable. And, yes, it was just one pilot. He had to refuel once during the lift.

Also, the unit had gas, elec and tstats hooked up during the next week or 2. This is just a remove and reset.

  • Well, Mr. "Nate Certified Technician", it did indeed happen. I was there and filmed almost all 7 hours of it. If you don't believe it, come on down to Denver City, TX, and I'll show you the school it went on. If, however, you want to see 7 HOURS of video footage detailing the ENTIRE project....well that's 7 hours of my life I don't want to waste...

  • Thats 3:28 of my life ill never have back........ And coming from a NATE Certified HVAC Service Technician..... that is bogus...... they didnt even show a building big enough to require 10 package units, let alone 133........with one chopper and what, 5-6 guys.....yeah right....

  • Bullshit, complete utter bullshit! Maybe with 300 guys! Actually, I take that back......were these units functioning after those 7 hours? Not!

  • Bullshit, complete utter bullshit! Maybe with 300 guys!

  • Utter garbage in terms of time as it would take3.15 mins just to secure an ac

  • for 25 grand, I hope they did 133 units in 7 hours...

  • very believable (if disconnected already), we did a similar job with 30 RTU's off/30 on, in just over 1 hour at a mall in Kelowna BC about 15 yrs ago, (they were disconnected already though, obviously)
