@dbsommers1 Ha, Well sure but you're just talking about Optimism - looking ahead. But also you're talking about forgiving (without forgetting?) past grudges. What I say is that for all tribal grudges to end, tribalism itself must end. However tribe, (genetic and cultural ancestry) is for some time in people's lives, parts of their (our) identity. There is the conundrum: Sacrifice identity and heritage for future peace and prosperity? Another way would be to create a new individual Identity

I find it sad, though that so many people base their lives on what a bunch of dead people did to a bunch of dead people no one today has anything to do with. I don't care if your great-grandfather killed my great-grandfather. It has nothing to do with either me or you. The world would be a happier (though not necessarily happy) place if people lived more like that.

Uncle tom! 1st thing he needs to understand & correct is that "Africans" didn't sell their own people. They sold a people who looked like their people into slavery for profit. If he stop being such an Uncle Tom & do the research he'd know that "black jews" were mostly found in west Africa hiding from white persecution. To later be persecuted by blacks as well, so it's not a white/black issue. It's an issue of whose who in history. & accurately establishing truth, not supporting historical myths.
