Come aboard the American Line's SS Virginia sometime before 1938 (when the Virginia was sold to the Maritime Commission and renamed the SS Brazil). As photographed by Harry Benewick, hometown unknown, you'll enjoy lots and LOTS of swimming in the ship's pool, dancing on deck, a trip through the Panama Canal with a surprising and delightful ship cameo appearance, and even some scenic shots of Panama City and Havana in the 1930's. Briefly back onboard ship for more dancing, our intrepid travelers arrive in New York where they managed to FILM THE ROCKETTES DANCING ON STAGE AT RADIO CITY MUSIC HALL! The footage is so charming, I've left it in, set to period music by the Radio City Music Hall Orchestra. Please note the charming homemade titles interspersed throughout the film, and as always... ENJOY!
