Hello bitches. I've decided to cover some of Fab's drumming by popular demand. "Electricityscape" has got some interesting drum patterns to it, the hi-hat-floor tom one being the trickiest of them. I hope you find this video interesting and/or enjoyable, and please do not hesitate to comment or ask me anything, because unlike mister Casablancas, I'll have something to say.

Hi dude, nice cover as always. Just a little question: don't you think you're skipping a double beat on the bass drum during pre- and chorus? I'm just asking this since I'm practicing this song to play with my Strokes cover band and I should get the straight drum track as it's played by Fab. Any suggestion? I do look back sometimes to see how my progress (or lack of it) drum-wise but I never look at my hair or that kind of stuff :P

welcome back kid! question though, the hi-hat floor tom pattern you did, is that what you actually hear on the album or what you saw him do live? b/c i dont hear the floor tom being hit during that on the album just the bass, but live i see he does it and i assumed he changed it live.

@vyce51 Excellent question. I'm absolutely positive he added the floor tom live because on the album it's clear he's just playing the hi hat during that part. However, I decided to modify it as well because it was so much more challenging and sounded more interesting.

@adamkrobles well it doesn't sound exactly the same, this le perm guy changed some parts. Which is kinda better then the original, I say.
