@lezlitaz You are right! Domestic abuse is not limited to muslims. BUT the key difference between Islamic cultures nad other cultures and religions is that in Islam, it is acceptable and legal.

In other non-islamic countries and religions it is not acceptable. In the US you can go to jail for beating your wife? Do men go to jail for beating their wife in Saudi?

@Mhabyba I dont hate you. I just dont think your situation represents the majority of muslim women, especially in the middle east, where women cant vote or drive, or have to have 5 MALE witness to a rape and if she makes the accusation without the witnesses she is beaten or amputated. ALL because of Sharia Law which is justified by Islam (according to the gov. officials).
