October 10, 2009-Former BNSF Dash-7 no. 4245 leads two F7B's and E8 no. 6902 into town after turning around at the sand facility further up the line. In town, the passengers (including me) will reboard the train for the return trip back to Nashville. If you're wondering why 4245 is on the point, TCRM sold their two F40PH's, in this case no. 375, to Metra earlier this year. They are working on an F7A to match the two B-units seen here.

For more info, look them up at tcry.org

P.S. On the train, I met another railfan with his buddy from Michigan. He said he's on YouTube & Facebook, and that he'd look me up. Well here's my first indication for him to look for.

  • Just rode the Fall tour to Cookville, 180 miles round-trip on Saturday October 23rd. It was FABULOUS! The entire crew were 5-STAR the BEST!!! The weather was perfect and the train ran perfect as well. Gets no better! Look forward to the next one going to Baxter in November, then The Polar Express excursions that follow! And if you haven't yet-----you should.......you won't regret a minute of it, and that's in ANY circumstance! ~Vis~

  • @aVisionseeker And that's which trip? The Polar Express?

  • SWEET!!!

  • @CLietke No problem!

  • @slideguitarbebyb Thanks!

  • @CLietke Well I have no idea what's going on with it. I'll try to find out some more about it.

  • @slideguitarbebyb The ad is still there as of 8:05P.M. Pacific Time on 3/19/2011...

  • @CLietke I heard today at the museum that the guy who owns 6902 told the website to take it down. That's just what I heard. I'm not for sure.

  • I'm glad its not sold yet. The museum needs to just buy it. Its on everything of theirs. Tickets shirts key chains I mean if ur ganna promote with it why not just buy it

  • @slideguitarbebyb Yep, it'll probably stay For Sale at the price of $78,500 for a while. But, I still can't believe the price is STILL $78,500!
