General Manager Becky Motal addresses pressing questions surrounding LCRA's sale of water from the Spicewood Beach system to private water providers. Two water providers had permission to draw water from the system until Jan. 4, the day before the system went into Stage 3 emergency drought restrictions. Motal says the well at Spicewood Beach is struggling due to the exceptional drought that may be one of the worst ever recorded in this region.
