man i got the same set up.. its crazy loud when blasting threw the gears. once i hooked flashpro up to it. its like driving a brand new car. so much more alive

Did you have to modify your cat back in any way to get it to bolt up right? I can't wait to get this header for my '01 GSR. I have an apex-i N-1 cat back with a 3-bolt flange at the cat and I know these headers get rid of the cat and only have a 2-bolt flange. I'm guessing cut the 3-bolt off the cat back and weld on a new 2-bolt?

also i might add, since adding the header, the cabin drone is SIGNIFICANTLY less, it doesn't bother me at all anymore.

driving around town like a "normal person" i don't think it's loud at all. It's very deep and rumbly and gurgles. I love it, however.... as soon as i get higher than 4500-5000rpm... it's insanely loud, you can hear me from miles away i'm sure. So if you like ripping through all the gears at every stoplight, then yeah you might have an issue, lol

that noise level could've been fixed with the invidia Q300 vs the N1... Just saying. either way sounds good.
