honestly, i didnt like Wolves. it just kinda dragged on forever and felt kind of absurd. Of course, absurd is what King is good at, but seriously, too much. lol

check out Demons and Wizards. their "touched by the crimson king" album is pretty much all based on these books. there are a few that don't have much of anything to do with it, but for the most part it is based on the dark tower, they even have the crimson king's eye as the artwork lol it's pretty awesome

Thankee-sai, and well met! You must read "Wolves" for the story to make any sense. I admit, I read these out of order myself, starting with "Drawing", then "Gunslinger", then the rest. I'm not sure "Gunslinger" by itself, the original, would have captured my interest, but now I believe this is THE best series of books I have ever read!

Well, maybe it IS a retarded new wave/disco hybrid. And no, it's actually NOT supposed to reflect the greatest adventure epic ever written (we're in agreement there!), but it was my best effort in 1993. Ya' don't hafta like it, though...
