Including a Gameboy, Gameboy advanced and a SNES- emulator already :) Who said N900 is not for gaming? And yes, it is and will be pretty much fully open source.

Somebody said in his review that "N900s speakers are like N95s". I personally believe N95s speakers are pretty good.

is the n900 louder than the n95? because the n97 got downgraded. I have the n95 and n97. The n97 ain't as loud as the n95

Nokia calls it a "Mobile Computer", but it's definitely a very capable phone.
There is no "Locked, unlocked" N900. It's open and open source. You can do what you want with it.
I can't find the quote at the moment, but Nokia says that they are keeping the N900 open.
