BLITZ VGTT TURBO TIMER quick tutorial - MITSUBISHI ECLIPSE GST 97

sorry about so much camera motion... i got a headache editing it. soooo just watch it once or twice and take notes*

i installed a 'japanese domestic market' peice into an american car. (DSM)
i had to buy an adapter that i thought would fit the JDM timer, but it wouldnt fit exactly right... so i had to literally break apart the turbo timer wire harness to seperate the connecters. them i just plugged them into the ECLIPSE adapter harness.

After that, i grounded the black wire (FROM THE TIMER) to the body of the car.
then i connected the PURPLE wire from the TIMER... to the WHITE wire from the ECLIPSE harness.

There were two OTHER wires from the timer, but i didnt need them in this case.
i think they are for automatic cars or something. if the timer doesnt keep the car on... try to run around the block with your car and then try it. i'm not a mechanic sooo dont email me with technical questions please... i just poked around and see what wires did what... "IM GLAD I DIDNT BREAK MY CAR PUTTING THIS TOGETHER"

Does the wire harness plug right in when you've got the steering column apart?

yeah, as long as you have the correct harness. its basically a splitter... it splices the signal from the ignition to the timer.

I tried to find yours, but I got the Blitz Auto Start Turbo Timer X Automatic turbo timer. Now I can warm up as well as cool down the car. No girl voice though :(

make you dont start your car in a garage*  I've heard [but never known anyone] of people dying from the carbon dioxide. or at least open your garage before warming up your car. [no joking*] just keep looking. im sure it'll pop up sooner or later.

someone gave it to me when i was in japan after they sold their car. not sure where you can get them anymore.

but they are called "blitz - voice guided turbo timer [vgtt]" look on ebay*
