  • @heliumgoafer Well, I certainly agree. This push hands is surface conglameration taught to the public and has nothing to do with the Pairing Hands and combat applications of Yang, Lu Chan. What fajing??? Pushing and pulling with get you killed on the streets, plus the movements are way too big to be of much of any kind of use. This is one ofthe basic illusions that the Buddha pointed out. This not just out door Taichi, it is out of the city Tai Chi. It is a joke!

  • Does anyone know what the technical term for the technique Mr. Mizner explains at 1:25? Is there any differentiation between this movement and typical fajin? Thanks in advance.

  • @durty1calhoun Don't take my word for it, it's just my subjective point of view, based on very limited information. I'm sitting here on the other side of the world, while you're the one actually living YOUR life. So make your own judgement, and hopefully you'll be fine!

  • @piaten If you say so.

  • @durty1calhoun Don't bet on it! Practice doesn't make perfect, perfect practice makes perfect. If your teacher don't even know jin himself, there's little chance any of his students ever will! Sounds like you better go sifu-shoppin the sooner the better! Also remember: Even with a knowledgable teacher, it takes a lot of study, research, practice and imaginative thinking on the student's part as well, to get it right!
