I came from a black woman, married a black woman, and am the proud father of a black daughter. Black women are soulful, beautiful from their heads to their toes, inside and out. But one thing we've got to remember is that this beauty must be well grounded in self respect. There's nothing beautiful about a self-loathing woman, and I've seen too much of it lately.

@Hotters7066 Yes, I know, Hotters. That is the downside of the Online deal; but it is worth the trip considering how badly you really want to meet "Mrs. Right Nubian Queen". However, there are alternatives of the non-cost kind; you can join a church or club and I'm sure you will meet some nice African-American mamita with you will eventually establish a decent relationship. That's the best I can do for you, Hotters. In your place, I would have done the same... :-)

@ursa41 That is what I am going to do. I can't stop looking for a good black woman just because one person broke my heart. I have to move on to someone better and prettier.

But don't I have to pay money using credit cards or cash? I tried to register online but they said that I have to use credit cards or have some kind of cash.

She never calls me like she is supposed to and I had to be the one to call her when she was the one that asked for my number first. So now me and her are not together anymore because she never really cared about me. She was just using me.

She was the one that asked for my phone number first when I told here that I just wanted to be friends for now. She was the one that forced herself to want to have intercourse with me and she didn't even know me.

When I was a single loner like yourself, in the '80s, I wish the technology we have today existed back then because with all the online dating websites, I would've had it made, and it would've saved me multiple depressive moments, much like you are experiencing now. Then again, I'm happy I met my wife (in college) when I did ...BUT I encourage YOU to hit those websites; you'll find some nice,decent African-American lady! THEY'RE OUT THERE!!!

Yes I respect the fact that black women are strong but the ones that I have met in my neighborhood are crazy and ghetto. I don't want that. I want somebody that can respect and love me.

@Hotters7066 Listen, Hotters. If you feel your luck struck out in your social life, my next course of action, in your place, would be Online Dating. You cannot go wrong! I have two friends/ acquaintences who tried it; one is already married and the other proposed to his companion on Valentine's Day. There are hundreds of websites for seeking women ; all ethnic backgrounds. If your preference is African-American, they're out there. But you have to take the first step, man!! :-)
