I went to Bora Bora 2 years ago... for 2 weeks
i fell really ill for the first week.. i was soo gutted.
Stayed mostly at a hotel 5 min from the ferry terminal ' then spent 1 day on at the intercontinental water bongalo for 1 day... soo over priced but well worth it
would be soo keen to visit again

@WAYDESWORLDHAWAII LOL! It's worth every penny if you can get there... BUT!!! it is not all that expensive if you plan your trip. There is backpacker accommodation, cheap rooms and you eat where the locals eat, The food is unreal. Like any destination, you can get caught in the tourist traps and spend big, but you don't have to do that. Thanks for the laughs Wayde... you are a legend mate!

See that smoke near the center of the video at 3:14? It's locals burning their garbage.

@hulkvsthor Maybe, not exactly sure how you can tell from that far away but, the locals also cook food in the ground using wood and Palm Fronds which make smoke. When we were there, we noticed people feasting and enjoying themselves, and our company... they were definitely very welcoming of strangers that's for sure. I can't wait to go back.
