What a strange thing to cringe about. Surely you cannot take one's accent so personally that we cringe. He is Australian and sings beautifully with an Australian accent. We all cannot speak in an American accent. Nor do we want to.

now see i like both of them very much....john's a lot better though...but i still like how hugh phrased his words and where he put the emphasis on each one......pretty well done i think...

Agreed, John's version is sung better, and it seems to me that Jack acts "more" because he doesn't focus on singing as much as John does.
