WATER POLLUTION SCRIPT

Mic-mic: Did you know that

Ielle: Each year

Sam: plastic waste in water

Sean: and coastal areas kills up to:

Ielle: 100,000 marine animals

Sam: 1 million sea birds

Sean: countless fish

Ashlye: Pollution of freshwater is a problem for about half of the world's population.

Sarah: Each year, there are about 250 million cases of water-related diseases

Ethan: with roughly 5 to 10 million deaths.

Mic-mic: There are many ways to prevent water pollution.

Kassya: You can conserve water by turning off the tap when running water is not necessary.

Jay: This helps prevent water shortages and reduces the amount of contaminated water that needs treatment.

Ariela: Be careful about what you throw down your sink or toilet. Don't throw paints, oils or other forms of litter down the drain.

Tito Jason: By having more plants in your garden you are preventing fertiliser, pesticides and contaminated water from running off into nearby water sources.

Candace: Don't throw litter into rivers, lakes or oceans.

Luke: So remember! It's bad to pollute the Earth's water! So don't do it! I want you to help me prevent water pollution! I'm watching you!
