  • Is it me or is this woman a fucking idiot?

  • This is the way to champion individual rights and political liberty!

Rand Paul is doing what the great Mahatma Gandhi instructed those defying political oppression to do:

“You must make the injustice visible... "

By translating Beltway Newspeak into plain English, Rand Paul is making the injustice visible. He is making the coercion visible. He is making the initiation of force visible.

    Ron Paul 2012!

  • Rand Paul!!! 2012

  • @LukeBlueFive Saying that "truth is not relative" is a very ignorant thing to say: truth is conditioned by knowledge, and only dogmatic minds would consider truth as an absolute. Sure, fetuses are alive (so are cockroaches and viruses). The point is how valid is to consider a six-weeks fetus a person, and how far the rights of the pregnant woman should go. This being such a divisive, polemic issue, should not be regulated on a federal level, but on a states level.

  • @LukeBlueFive I used to fall in the line of thinking that abortion is a grey-area issue, but the more I think about it, the more I tend to agree with what you are saying. I think at the very least, people need to recognize that abortion is indeed taking an unborn life. If the federal government is going to regulate it, then I would support pro-life over pro-choice. There are very few moralities the government needs to regulate, the right to life is one of them.

  • I'm proud this man is my Senator.

  • @LukeBlueFive I don't understand*

  • @daveBit15 First, truth is not relative: any given statement is either true or false. Therefore, it doesn't make any sense to say that contradictory statements all have a certain amount of validity. Second, under science's definition of life, fetuses are undeniably alive. As we both agree that the government has jurisdiction over our actions when they harm others, I do understand why you would argue that it shouldn't protect the lives of its unborn citizens when others threaten to harm them.

  • @LukeBlueFive If you ask different people with different backgrounds to define when a fetus becomes a person, you will get different answers, and there's certain validity to all. That's why it shouldn't get regulated on a federal level. By the way, I don't think government should have any jurisdiction on what drugs we take or what we do with our life unless it harms other people.

  • I like Rand Paul. Really seems like a classy smart guy.

  • This bitch got owned by Rand Paul. Now I'm truly proud to say I voted for him.
