Imagine a documentary by legendary German filmmaking genius Werner Herzog where he tackles the subject of a contemporary Dublin skanger as if his life were a Joycean narrative. Performed by The Brownbread Players (Kalle Ryan and Gus McDonagh) and written by Kalle Ryan. Recorded live at the brownbread mixtape on Jan 26th 2011. The theme of the night was "Begin Again"

the brownbread mixtape is a monthly gig upstairs in The Stag's Head pub in Dublin city. each gig has a theme. we invite poets, musicians, playwrights, comedians and performers. they do a performance related to the theme. we all have loads of fun. simple as that.
