  • mesa F 50 or nomad

  • you know its funny cuz i just saw that vid, hardest guitar solo ever or whatever, which is horrible by the way, and it actually does sound like it. altho jon your hilariously bad and overly ego-centric, he did make a valid point lol. that was a rip off his solo. its the same thing but in reverse. altho probably not on purpose i bet ;D

  • dude strat with emgs ??? you rock

  • Thanx for the advice, i am just recently saw a Mark IV for $1000, might get that. Thanx again, and keep on playing well, maybe i will be as good as you someday. :)

  • ...but again, the F-50 is a gem....GREAT amp...VERY LOUD, very AGGRESIVE...it's just voiced aggressively, you can clearly hear it... keep in mind two things about my video....1rt the amp is NOT kranked....so with more volume it'll sound even better and more powerful, and 2nd, it's a open back combo.... with a cab this amp just KILLS.. in the OD channel....sounds wayy more tight and heavy. But it's really not A/B , what you hear is mostly what you get. Great amp. I'd get the Mark IV tho. cheers!

  • ...It's not really a MARK and a RECTO, but it has some of both amps character making it it's own character. It'll do some AMAZING hard Rock/progressive metal tones, but you guessed it, it won't do the tight thrash metal Pantera's known for. It's a little bit loose for that. Between the Mark IV and the F-50 I'd pick the Mark IV because it's more versatile, the clean channel on the f-50 is better (but not THAT much better tho) but in the OD channels the Mark will win hands down....(cont....)
