@littleladyinbigworld what Bear is doing is entertainment. If he does get hurt, there are people there to evacuate him. If you are in a real survival situation don't do stuff that will likely get you injured. All of these survival shows like action, Dave does some of this as well ( the attempt to get honey from a bee hive was exceptionally stupid) but sometimes even stupid stuff is instructive.

Personally I would not be eating newts or salamanders found here in the USA since they release a toxic substance through skin so predators will avoid them. In general they are safe to handle just don't eat the little amphibians. The secreations are not really strong enough to kill a human, but can make people sick.

Hello Dave, I've recently incorparated the "lifestraw" to my kit, I was wondering if you have a review on it. the reason I added this small filter to my kit is simply because of convenience and portability. I strongly believe that knowing how to purify your water is very important, but if you can add something like this to your kit it would just make it a little bit easier in a survival situation.

like you say: he always takes the most hardest Tracks to climb, swimm, walk.. whatever. It would be REALY Stupid to copy that for a own Survival Emergency xD
