Details!!! READ FIRST THEN ASK.

PREP:
Tank: USE 5 gallons or lower tank
Heat: 82 Degrees/Keep lid close for humidity
NO Bubbles needed until after fry can swim or wiggle tails
Cut out middle section of liter soda bottle "measure according to how high your water is" mine was about 5" high
Need some kind of floating thing for nest "i used a white plastic bowl from walmart"

After prep put female with male in tank. Put female inside the cutout liter bottle. This will allow the female to be safe and can still see the male. put the small plastic bowl on top of the water "make sure it does not sink" the male will build his bubble nest under it. After the whole entire underside of the bowl is filled but bubbles first check female. if she has three vertical stripes and a white egg under her belly she's read. Release her and with in a few hours maybe they'll mate. she after a day so they dont mate and she's badly injured put her back in the liter bottle.

After breeding the female will kinda wonder off to rest. at this time take her OUT of the TANK!!!!!! SHE WILL EAT THE EGGS!!!!! the male got it from here.

Feeding: After female has been taken out, try to feed the male betta in small portions that he will eat all of it. DONT OVER FEED it will cause the water to be dirty and be harmful to eggs and fry.

Water Change: ONLY CHANGE WATER WHEN: the fry are free swimming. if you change water when the eggs are still in the nest they will fall and the male will sometime not care to go pick them up!!!!

When fry are free swimming TAKE OUT MALE and put in small air stone. NO FILTER...and FEED in small portion 3x day

If all is done right, male and female will mate; you will not need to change water all during eggs in nest, air stone when free swimming; and hopefully they grow into adulthood. DONT panic if male dont pick up eggs from below; they might be dead anyways.

You shouldn't breed in glass tanks, unless you have a heater
