Heard Slidin Selena now on several videos. You are great and play just how I would if I could. I'm a wood winds guy and really envy the bass sax. You are great. Thanks for keep ing this fun music alive. People need to know this is living.

Thank you for this fine tune!!!
And thank you, Bert for sending Lielian to the front line!!,!
I would like to hear Lielian with a little drum solo in more of your pieces, also some chords of the banjo.
Alles Gute im neuen Jahr
und fröhliche Grüße aus Tirol
;-)

First time I played it was in New Orleans back in 1996, in the Famous Door in Bourbon Street. So it has good memories to me as well!

We keep that Count Basie 1937 / 1940 Rhytme section in mind.... Jo Jones, Freddy Green, Walter Page, the Count..... Only outclassed by Artie Shaw once, the video version (Certainly not the commercial record) of Oh, Lady Be Good, with Buddy Rich on drums.
It's not easy to get that with bass sax and banjo, but at least we are trying.
